SORC Model of Victoria-Lewisham
State Of the Railway Compiler for London’s Southeast Corridor
trenolab completed the development of a SORC (State Of the Railway Compiler) model covering the railway infrastructure between London Victoria East and Lewisham. This project focused on creating a detailed microscopic model capable of exporting tabular information about the infrastructure and its state. The microscopic model was updated with infrastructure data including infrastructure asset locations, status and routes for the Victoria-Lewisham corridor. A specialized plug-in was implemented to determine the state of infrastructure elements and enable comprehensive data export in a tabular format for efficient data sharing and analysis. This work provided a systematic approach to documenting and analyzing the railway infrastructure along this busy London route. The SORC model captured the complex interactions between different infrastructure components, allowing for better understanding of operational requirements and constraints.
