Greater Wellington
Greater Wellington Rail Service: Timetable planning and performance modelling.
During the franchise bid to operate the services in the Greater Wellington Area, trenolab was asked to develop the timetables for a three-step service improvement plan. The first step just included some tweaks to improve the performances, the second a slight increase in the frequency of service, and a third a more substantial improvement, made possible by a set of infrastructure investments contained in the “RS1” masterplan.
