Timetable preparation for Oslo region services
Timetable planning and modelling for the R2024, R2026 and the R2028 of the Oslo area
The aim of the project was to design and deliver timetables for the PSO contract negotiations between Flytoget and the Norwegian railway directorate. Due to the anticipated completion of various new infrastructure projects in the upcoming years three different time frames and underlying states of infrastructure needed to be considered in the project - 2024, 2026 and 2028. In addition to the construction of the timetables and its validation by microscopic simulation, further operational task, like the vehicle rostering, have been addressed. Despite the project’s demanding schedule, all three timetable versions could be delivered on time.
